An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced administrator to support the work of our friendly and professional programme team, for the remainder of the delivery of the Moving On Tyne & Wear (MOTW) programme.

Your attention to detail and ability to effectively manage a varied workload will make you a real asset to our team.  With responsibility for reviewing historical finance documents for compliance in line with our funder’s guidance, you will identify any gaps in evidence and work with staff across the programme to ensure they are resolved.  You will also support the programme team undertaking a range of tasks including meetings management, mailbox management, event scheduling and maintaining electronic and paper-based filing systems.

MOTW is joint-funded by The National Lottery Community Fund and European Social Fund, and aims to support people with a health barrier to move towards or into training and employment.

This project is led by Mental Health Concern and supported by 8 other partner organisations, each with a well-established commitment to deliver community-based services for people with complex needs, to make lasting and positive change and to move, in time, into training and employment.

About you

We would love to hear from you if you possess the following:

  • Proven track record in an administrative role, with experience of meetings administration, mailbox management and maintaining electronic and paper-based filing systems
  • Experience of providing effective and efficient administrative support to a team
  • Ability to work within procedures and guidelines with a high level of accuracy
  • Strong attention to detail, and pro-active approach to resolving any identified discrepancies in information
  • Proven experience of effectively managing a varied workload and meeting deadlines
  • Audit experience (preferable but not essential)
