In October, we encouraged people to #Take10ForMentalHealth by sharing videos of what they do to make them feel good! Over 40 people sent in videos – a huge thank you to everyone who took part!

This year has been a challenging one for us all, so this October we wanted to raise awareness of what we can do to make ourselves feel good.

We launched #Take10ForMentalHealth to encourage people to do just that! By posting a 10-second video doing something that they loveTake 10 Challengers from all over the region shared top tips and ideas for things we can do to improve our mood!

The campaign also coincided with World Mental Health Day celebrations, which took place on 10 October 10. From cycling, to singing, to origami, our supporters shared it all!

We were particularly grateful to have support from George CaulkinPaul Smith from Maximo Park, and The Unthanks – all of whom are from the North East, so are committed to raising awareness of mental health in the region.

We’d also like to thank The North East Chamber of CommerceDrummond Central, CargoBBC Radio Tees and MHA Tait Walker Accountancy for their support – it was lovely to see what the teams do for their mental health!

We’ve collated all of the individual #Take10ForMentalHealth videos into one big self-care video, in the hope that there is something everyone can take from it to make themselves feel good!
