The main purpose of our 24-hour specialist rehabilitation and recovery services is to help people with complex mental health problems to live well and independently in the community.
We work with people to understand and manage their mental health condition, as well as to develop and practise the skills which are important to live a satisfying life. We focus on ‘recovery’ – wellbeing as well as good physical health.
Anna began work with Mental Health Concern in 1999, after qualifying with a degree in mental health nursing. Anna worked firstly in dementia care, followed by supportive rehabilitation, and then rehabilitation and recovery, before her appointment as Head of Adult Services in 2016. She is values-driven and has a particular interest in supporting service users who have experienced complex trauma and have multiple needs, using creative and person-centred interventions.
