Mental Health Concern employs more than 200 staff in the North East from a wide range of backgrounds.  We have well developed staff support structures and invest considerably in training and development.

We welcome applications from Mental Health Nurses in particular.  For these key staff we can facilitate continued access to the NHS Pension scheme as well as reflecting the Agenda for Change pay structure.

As a close partner and provider of services to the NHS and with a significant national influence within the Voluntary Sector we can enable our staff to remain fully updated and involved with developments in practice and service delivery.

We encourage applications from potential Mental Health Support Workers whose experience in mental health specific services is not essential.  We encourage all support workers to complete a level 2 NVQ or equivalent and provide access to NVQ level 3 qualifications.  We have also enabled Support Workers to progress through their nurse training whilst still being financially supported by the organisation.
